Blue Star Limited has unveiled an extended range of commercial refrigeration products for the summer of 2025, catering to a variety of cooling requirements across different industries. The stock of Blue Star Limited was trading at ₹2,108.20, a decrease of ₹23 or 1.08% on the NSE at 12.25 pm today.

The expanded product line includes deep freezers that can reach cooling levels as low as -26°C, with capacities ranging from 60L to 600L and prices starting at ₹16,000. Additionally, the company has bolstered its offerings of storage water coolers, bottled water dispensers, visi coolers/freezers, and cold room solutions.

Blue Star manufactures its deep freezers and water coolers at facilities in Wada and Ahmedabad, in line with the ‘Make in India, Make for the Globe’ initiative. The Wada plant, certified platinum by the Indian Green Building Council, has the capacity to produce 3 lakh deep freezers and 1 lakh water coolers annually, while the Ahmedabad facility can manufacture 1 lakh deep freezers.

Managing Director B Thiagarajan stated that the surge in demand in the commercial refrigeration sector is being fueled by various industries such as ice cream manufacturers, quick-service restaurants, hospitality, quick commerce, food retail, and healthcare.

The company’s focus lies on energy efficiency and sustainability, utilizing low-GWP refrigerants and eco-friendly insulation blowing agents. Blue Star has invested in research and development infrastructure, including NABL-accredited testing labs, and has obtained numerous patents and design registrations.

In conclusion, Blue Star Limited’s expansion of its commercial refrigeration product range aligns with the increasing demand in the market and emphasizes its commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility.
