Bartronics Allocates ₹50 Crore for 15% Stake in Huwel Life Sciences

Bartronics India Ltd (BIL) is set to invest up to ₹50 crore in Huwel Life Sciences, a firm specializing in molecular diagnostics, to acquire a 15% equity stake. The investment will provide BIL with the option to increase its stake in the Hyderabad-based company by an additional 15%.

Huwel Life Sciences is a women-led private entity that operates from a cutting-edge facility in Hyderabad and has garnered regulatory approvals from both European and US authorities. The company has developed over 100 validated diagnostic products, targeting areas such as tuberculosis, infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, viral threats, genetic disorders, and cancer.

The announcement was made official in a company release.
