Tata Capital Launches ₹15,512-Cr Mega IPO: Day 1 Highlights

The ₹15,512-crore Tata Capital IPO, marking the largest public issue of the year, is set to open for subscription from October 6 until October 8. This offering features a fresh issue of 21 crore shares alongside an offer for sale (OFS) amounting to 26.58 crore shares.

The shares are priced within the range of ₹310 to ₹326 each, which values the non-banking financial company (NBFC) at around ₹1.38 lakh crore at the upper limit of the price band.

In the OFS component, Tata Sons plans to divest 23 crore shares, while the International Finance Corporation (IFC) is expected to sell 3.58 crore shares. The proceeds from the fresh issue are intended to enhance Tata Capital’s Tier-1 capital base, thereby supporting its growth and lending capabilities.

  • Price Band: ₹310-326 per share
