Swiggy, India’s leading food delivery platform, has announced exciting developments for its quick commerce service, Instamart. Instamart will soon be available as a standalone app in addition to its presence on the main Swiggy platform. This move comes as Swiggy continues to expand Instamart’s reach, with the service now available in 76 cities across India.

The standalone Instamart app will offer users quick and convenient access to a wide range of grocery and daily essentials, with the promise of 10-minute deliveries on nearly 50,000 products. Swiggy’s Managing Director and Group CEO, Sriharsha Majety, has expressed confidence in Instamart’s potential to surpass the company’s food delivery business in terms of scale and penetration, with projections of reaching over 100 million users.

This announcement aligns with Swiggy’s strategy of offering both unified and standalone services, catering to the diverse needs of its user base. The company’s multi-service approach, similar to its integration of the restaurant reservation service Dineout, highlights its commitment to providing a seamless and comprehensive experience for consumers.

In addition to the standalone app, users will still have access to Instamart through the main Swiggy platform, ensuring continuity of service and convenience. Swiggy’s expansion of Instamart reflects its ongoing efforts to dominate the quick commerce sector and solidify its position as a leader in the convenience delivery space.

As Swiggy continues to innovate and expand its offerings, the launch of the standalone Instamart app signals a new chapter in the company’s growth trajectory. With a focus on speed, convenience, and quality, Instamart is poised to revolutionize the way consumers shop for everyday essentials, setting new standards for quick commerce in India.
