Persistent Systems, in collaboration with Google Cloud, has recently launched Pi-OmniKG, an AI-powered knowledge graph solution designed to enhance data mining and analysis in the healthcare and life sciences sectors. This new tool is built on Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL, allowing researchers to integrate and analyze diverse datasets from various sources efficiently.

One of the key features of Pi-OmniKG is its generative AI capabilities, which streamline workflows and standardize data processing, making it easier for organizations to manage complex datasets in biomedical research and development. This tool is a result of Persistent’s Strategic Partnership Agreement with Google Cloud, aiming to address the challenges faced by researchers in handling large and diverse datasets.

According to Ganesh Nathella, Persistent’s Senior Vice President, Pi-OmniKG will play a crucial role in accelerating discoveries and bringing therapies to market faster. Shweta Maniar, Global Leader of Healthcare & Life Sciences Solutions at Google Cloud, emphasized the potential of AI in revolutionizing biomedical research and highlighted how Pi-OmniKG can help organizations in this space.

The release of Pi-OmniKG marks a significant milestone in the field of biomedical research, offering a powerful tool for data analysis and insights generation. This collaboration between Persistent Systems and Google Cloud showcases the potential of AI in transforming the healthcare and life sciences sectors, ultimately leading to more efficient and impactful research outcomes.
