New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized India’s leadership in the global fight against climate change, despite its minor contribution to the issue. He highlighted India’s commitment to sustainable growth focused on stability, sustainability, and innovative solutions.

Modi pointed out that India is spearheading the transition to green industries and creating green jobs for the future. The country’s growth trajectory is centered around initiatives such as electric vehicles, green hydrogen, ethanol blending, and rooftop solar installations.

The Prime Minister noted India’s endeavors in promoting electric vehicles, solar energy, and green initiatives in agriculture, transportation, and infrastructure. He also highlighted India’s efforts in addressing global concerns about climate change through initiatives like the International Solar Alliance, Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure, and other international collaborations.

In addition to climate change, Modi discussed India’s advancements in technology, particularly in democratizing services and promoting financial inclusion through digital public infrastructure. He commended platforms like Aadhaar, Digilocker, and the Unified Payment Interface (UPI) for their success in facilitating seamless service delivery.

The Prime Minister also emphasized the importance of leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) across sectors like healthcare, education, and startups. He outlined India’s commitment to delivering world-class AI solutions and driving innovation through platforms like Quad.

Modi underscored the government’s focus on uplifting the middle class, empowering small businesses, and enhancing quality of life for all citizens. He highlighted India’s potential for attracting global investments, citing endorsements from experts like Mark Mobius.

Looking towards the future, Modi reiterated India’s goal of achieving a developed nation status by 2047 and emphasized the importance of youth empowerment through education, skill development, and research. He highlighted India’s progress in global rankings for research quality, university presence, and intellectual property filings.

Overall, Modi’s address underscored India’s proactive stance on climate change, technological innovation, and youth empowerment, positioning the country as a key player in addressing global challenges and driving sustainable growth.
