Indian Oil Corporation, the largest refiner in India, has secured a deal for the purchase of 3 million barrels of sweet crude for delivery in November, according to information from trade sources reported on Friday.

The acquisition consists of 2 million barrels of U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) Midland crude sourced from Totsa, alongside 950,000 barrels of Nigerian Agbami crude from Chevron.

The WTI cargo was sold at approximately $3.50 per barrel above the dated Brent price on a delivery basis to the Vadinar port, one of the sources disclosed. The pricing details for the Agbami cargo remain unavailable at this time.
