Cyient Limited has announced the appointment of K A Prabhakaran as the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of its DET business. The company’s shares closed at ₹1,254 on the NSE today, down by 1.23 per cent.

Prabhakaran joins Cyient from Honeywell, where he held the position of Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for the Process Solutions group. With over 30 years of experience in the engineering and R&D sector, he has led global teams in industries such as Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Life Sciences, and Renewable Energy.

In his new role at Cyient, Prabhakaran will drive the company’s technological vision and develop market-ready solutions to enhance competitiveness. He will also focus on expanding Cyient’s technology footprint through innovation and building new capabilities.

Having previously been based in Houston, Texas, Prabhakaran will now be operating from Bengaluru, India. His expertise in developing technology solutions for large OEMs in areas like avionics aligns with Cyient’s key focus areas.
