Hyderabad-based Bondada Engineering Limited has secured an ₹816 crore contract from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited for Balance of System (BOS) works on a 600 MW solar photovoltaic project located in Fatehgarh, Rajasthan. The Notification of Award, received over the weekend, encompasses engineering, procurement, construction, and three years of operations and maintenance services. The project is scheduled for execution within 16 months.
This contract marks the second order from the NTPC Group, increasing Bondada’s total order inflow from the group to approximately ₹1,207 crore, with a combined capacity from NTPC projects nearing 1 GW. As a result, the company’s overall solar EPC order book now stands at around 5.3 GWp.
The announcement follows strong financial performance for FY 2025-26, during which Bondada reported total revenue of ₹2,843 crore, a significant increase from ₹1,571 crore in the previous fiscal year, reflecting an 81 percent year-on-year growth. The company achieved a net profit of ₹211 crore for the year, demonstrating growth across its three verticals: renewable energy, telecom, and railways.
On the stock market front, Bondada Engineering Limited traded lower on Monday at ₹345.10, down ₹10.20 or 2.87 percent from a previous close of ₹355.30. The stock reached an intraday high of ₹360 and a low of ₹339.95, with a market capitalization of approximately ₹3,851 crore. Its 52-week trading range is between ₹215 and ₹510.
