Radico Khaitan has unveiled the final two editions of its Rampur Jugalbandi series at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes. The release of Rampur Jugalbandi #7 and #8 completes the eight-part limited-edition Indian Single Malt collection that began in 2022.
Jugalbandi #7 features a unique combination of ex-bourbon and Mizunara casks, presenting notes of tropical fruits, vanilla, and sandalwood with influences from Japanese oak. Conversely, Jugalbandi #8 blends ex-bourbon and sherry PX casks, showcasing flavors of dried fruits, dark chocolate, and warm spices.
The series, which has been introduced incrementally with two expressions each year since 2022, is produced at Rampur Distillery in Uttar Pradesh. This facility is noted as Asia’s oldest and largest distillery, boasting over 80 years of history. The collection draws its inspiration from the Indian classical music form of Jugalbandi, where two soloists harmonize.
Sanjeev Banga, President of International Business at Radico Khaitan, emphasized that the series reflects the company’s goal of highlighting India’s premium whisky production capabilities to international markets. The two new expressions are set to be available in select global markets and travel retail from November 2025.
Founded in 1943, Radico Khaitan operates distilleries in Rampur, Sitapur, and Aurangabad and exports its products to over 100 countries. As of September 29, 2025, the shares of Radico Khaitan Limited were trading at ₹2,899.50, reflecting an increase of ₹16.70 or 0.58 percent on the NSE at 12:40 PM.
