The Hyundai Creta Electric is the latest addition to the electric vehicle lineup from Hyundai, following the success of the Kona and IONIQ 5. This new BEV SUV is highly anticipated and aims to cater to the increasing demand for electric vehicles in the market.

Hyundai has been proactive in establishing a robust charging network to support its electric vehicles. With the highest number of 150 kW chargers in the country, Hyundai ensures that EV owners have access to convenient charging options both in the city and on the highway.

In terms of design, the Hyundai Creta Electric bears a strong resemblance to its ICE-powered counterpart. The front features an integrated charging flap in place of the radiator grille, while the rear sports a pixelated LED reverse lamp and an ‘Electric’ badge for differentiation. The SUV is available in 10 colour options, adding to its appeal.

Inside, the cabin of the Creta Electric exudes a premium feel. The twin 10.25-inch displays, mix of light and dark tones, and touch-sensitive controls create a sophisticated ambiance. The spacious interior offers ample room for passengers and luggage, with additional storage space in the front frunk.

The Creta Electric is equipped with advanced features like ADAS and vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality. It also offers a digital key that allows owners to control the car from their smartphone. On the road, the SUV delivers a balanced and stable driving experience, thanks to its well-tuned suspension and precise steering.

The Creta Electric is available with two battery options: a 51.4 kWh pack with a claimed range of 473 km and a 42 kWh pack offering 390 km. The larger battery model is more powerful, producing 168.6 bhp compared to 133.1 bhp from the smaller pack. Charging the Creta Electric is quick and convenient, with fast charging capabilities and a wall-mounted charger for home use.

With a starting price of Rs __ ex-showroom, the Hyundai Creta Electric combines the practicality and comfort of the Creta with the benefits of electrification. Its smooth power delivery and agile performance make it a compelling choice for both Creta enthusiasts and new EV buyers. Overall, the Creta Electric is a well-rounded electric SUV that showcases Hyundai’s commitment to sustainable mobility and innovative technology.
