The stock market saw a flurry of activities on Friday, with five companies making their debut and giving investors handsome listing gains. Mamata Machinery stole the show with a whopping 147% premium on its issue price, making investors a profit of ₹21,777 per lot size. The Gujarat-based packaging machinery manufacturer’s IPO was oversubscribed 195 times, reflecting the strong demand for its shares.

Investment bank DAM Capital Advisors also had a successful listing, with a premium of nearly 39% on its issue price. Investors made a profit of ₹5,830 per lot on the listing. Transrail Lighting and Sanathan Textiles also saw significant listing gains, with investors pocketing over ₹5,000 and ₹4,600 per lot, respectively.

Concord Enviro Systems rounded up the list with an 18% premium on its issue price, resulting in a profit of over ₹2,600 per lot for investors. The company is an integrated solutions provider for industrial wastewater re-use and zero liquid discharge solutions.

Overall, the stock market debut of these five companies showcased the investor appetite for new opportunities and the potential for solid returns. It will be interesting to see how these companies perform in the coming days and whether they can sustain the momentum generated by their successful listings.
