Vodafone Idea Surges 4.34% on High Volume Amid AGR Developments

The rally came amid market speculation about potential AGR relief by year-end. However, the company issued a clarification to stock exchanges on December 2, stating it has no new developments to report beyond its earlier communications dated October 27, 2025, and November 4, 2024, regarding the Supreme Court’s order on AGR dues.

The telecom operator witnessed robust trading activity with a total traded volume of 11,761.28 lakh shares, translating into a traded value of ₹1,229.05 crore. Deliverable quantity stood at 21.64 per cent of total traded volume, indicating significant intraday speculation.

The company’s total market capitalisation stood at ₹1,14,518.59 crore. The stock has gained 4.86 per cent over the past week and 10.80 per cent over the past month, with year-to-date returns of 31.96 per cent.

The counter touched its 52-week high of ₹11.08 on November 14, 2025, and remains well above its 52-week low of ₹6.12 recorded on August 14, 2025.
