Top Gainers and Losers on NSE/BSE: Bajaj Finance, Reliance, SBI

On Monday, shares of Bajaj Finance Ltd., Eternal Ltd., UltraTech Cement Ltd., Reliance Industries Ltd., and State Bank of India (SBI) emerged as top gainers in the stock market. Conversely, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), Asian Paints Ltd., Infosys Ltd., Titan Company Ltd., and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. were among the notable losers.

The benchmark indices concluded their eight-session winning streak, with the BSE Sensex declining by 0.15 percent, or 118.96 points, to finish at 81,785.74. The NSE Nifty 50 dipped by 0.18 percent, or 44.80 points, settling at 25,069.20, as investor sentiment turned cautious ahead of the impending US Federal Reserve policy decision.

Bajaj Finance topped the gainers’ list, increasing by 0.68 percent to close at ₹1,010.05. Eternal saw a rise of 0.58 percent, reaching ₹323.30. UltraTech Cement increased by 0.46 percent, ending at ₹12,429.05, while Reliance Industries gained 0.32 percent to close at ₹1,399.30. SBI rounded out the top five gainers, inching up 0.19 percent to ₹824.90.

On the losing side, M&M was the most significant laggard, declining by 1.67 percent to ₹3,529.35. Asian Paints fell by 1.65 percent to ₹2,502.30. Infosys decreased by 1.15 percent, closing at ₹1,508.05, while Titan Company lost 1.03 percent to finish at ₹3,534.25. Sun Pharma experienced a drop of 0.86 percent, closing at ₹1,602.40.
