Indian stock market will remain closed on Friday, March 14, 2025, in observance of Holi. This closure includes all trading activities across various segments such as equity, derivatives, securities lending and borrowing, currency, and interest rate derivatives. In total, the exchanges will be closed for 14 days during the year.

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will resume their operations on Monday, March 17, 2025. The stock market typically operates on all weekdays, except for public holidays that are predetermined at the beginning of each year. It also remains closed on weekends, except for special occasions like the Union Budget 2025 presentation, which led to the market being open on February 1, 2025.

For more information on stock market holidays in 2025, refer to the NSE and BSE trading holiday schedules provided by the exchanges. Additionally, you can find information on bank holidays in India for the year 2025 to plan your financial activities accordingly.

Remember to stay informed about market closures and plan your trading activities accordingly to avoid any inconvenience. Make sure to mark your calendar for upcoming holidays and enjoy a well-deserved break from the stock market hustle.
