Silver Prices Dip ₹2,577 to ₹2.38 Lakh per KG in Futures Market

Silver prices declined by ₹2,577, settling at ₹2.38 lakh per kilogram in the national capital on Friday, influenced by weak trends and a drop in investor demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for May delivery fell by ₹2,577, or 1.07 percent, to ₹2,38,936 per kg.

Analysts observed that the decrease in silver prices aligned with losses seen in international markets. In overseas trading, Comex silver futures for the May contract decreased by 1.26 percent to $74.55 per ounce in New York.

According to market participants, the overall weakness in global benchmarks and a cautious sentiment across commodities exerted downward pressure on silver prices.
