The Centre has pledged to back all development initiatives undertaken by the NDA Government in Andhra Pradesh, as confirmed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During an event in Visakhapatnam, where he launched development projects worth ₹2.08 lakh crore, Modi emphasized the government’s commitment to realizing the aspirations of the state’s residents for growth and progress.

He highlighted that Andhra Pradesh is poised to become a central hub for the development of IT and technology sectors, among others. Furthermore, he noted that one of the two proposed Green Hydrogen hubs in India is set to be established in Andhra Pradesh, with the government’s goal of producing 5 million tonnes of Green Hydrogen by 2030, which is expected to create numerous job opportunities.

Additionally, Modi mentioned the foundation stone laid for a bulk drug park in Nakkapalli, one of only three such parks planned across the nation.

The Prime Minister also spoke about the forthcoming South Coastal Zone, which is anticipated to stimulate further growth in the region. He announced that the modernization of 70 railway stations in Andhra Pradesh is in progress under the Amrit Bharat scheme, aimed at enhancing infrastructure and connectivity in the state.
