Honda Cars India has announced that the Elevate SUV has achieved a significant milestone by crossing 1 lakh sales. Launched in 2023, the Elevate is currently the only SUV in Honda’s lineup and has been well-received in the Indian market. The company has sold 53,326 units of the vehicle domestically, while 47,653 units have been exported as of January. Interestingly, over 50% of the Elevate models sold are in the top-spec ZX trim, with the favorite color being white. Additionally, nearly 80% of buyers have opted for the CVT gearbox. The prices for the Elevate start at ₹11.79 lakh, ex-showroom.

In other news, Renault has announced that customers can now opt for a CNG kit on all its vehicles in the current lineup. The government-approved CNG retrofitted kit will come with a three-year warranty and will be available nationwide in a phased manner. The CNG kit, which includes installation charges, is priced at ₹75,000 for the Kwid hatchback and ₹79,500 for both the Kiger sub-four-meter SUV and the seven-seat Triber. Sales of the CNG variants will begin in select states like Haryana, UP, Delhi, Gujarat, and Maharashtra.

Meanwhile, Classic Legends has introduced the Jawa 350 Legacy Edition in India to celebrate one year since the launch of the Jawa 350. Priced at ₹1,98,950 ex-showroom, this special edition is limited to the first 500 customers. Although there are no mechanical changes, the motorcycle features additional accessories such as a pillion backrest, touring visor, premium crash guard, leather keychain, and a miniature scale model. The Jawa 350 Legacy Edition is available at all Jawa dealerships across the country.

These updates showcase the continued efforts of automotive manufacturers to cater to the diverse needs and preferences of customers in the Indian market. The industry remains dynamic and competitive, with brands striving to offer innovative and appealing products to attract a wide range of buyers.
