A security incident occurred at Delhi Airport on Sunday morning involving a 13-year-old Afghan boy who managed to sneak into the landing gear of a Kam Air flight. The aircraft, arriving from Kabul, landed around 11:10 AM local time. Airline personnel discovered the boy close to the aircraft shortly after its arrival.

The boy, originally from Kunduz in Afghanistan, had illicitly accessed the Kabul-Delhi flight RQ-4401 by concealing himself in the landing gear compartment. Upon questioning by security officials, the boy revealed the unusual means by which he traveled.

During a comprehensive inspection of the aircraft, Kam Air’s security and engineering teams found a small red audio speaker in the landing gear area, raising further security concerns. The relevant authorities took the boy into custody for questioning. Following standard procedures, he was returned to Kabul later that day on Kam Air’s return flight, RQ-4402.
