Madame Tussauds London is set to host a special two-month showcase titled ‘Icons of India,’ which will feature 13 wax figures representing prominent Bollywood actors and Indian cricket stars. This limited-time exhibit will run from May 1 through June 30.

The awards party zone of the attraction will be transformed to reflect Indian cultural influences, underscoring the global appeal of Hindi cinema and cricket. Visitors will have the opportunity to pose for photographs with major figures in Indian entertainment, including Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Hrithik Roshan. The lineup will also feature celebrated personalities like Katrina Kaif, Madhuri Dixit, and Ranveer Singh.

Moreover, cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli will be part of the display, with Kohli’s wax figure being brought in from Madame Tussauds Bangkok. Additional figures of Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Kajal Aggarwal will travel from other international Madame Tussauds locations.

Officials indicated that this initiative aims to celebrate the increasing global popularity of Indian cinema and cricket, while also strengthening cultural ties between India and the UK. The High Commission of India in London emphasized that the showcase represents the shared cultural connection between the two nations, effectively bringing “the spirit of India to the heart of London.”
