NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta conducted a surprise inspection of the Aruna Asaf Ali Hospital on Thursday, seeking feedback on the services and doctor availability at the facility.

During the visit, the Chief Minister directed the hospital administration to ensure that essential resources such as medicines, drinking water, and hygiene measures are maintained, particularly in preparation for the summer season. Gupta engaged with doctors and hospital staff, emphasizing the need for the modernization of health services to make them faster and more citizen-centric.

In a post on X, she stated, “Our resolve is that every citizen of Delhi should experience a healthcare system that ensures timely treatment, availability of modern facilities, clean environment, and services to patients in a dignified manner.” Gupta reaffirmed her government’s commitment to providing reliable health services to every household, aiming to transform each hospital into a center of service, sensitivity, and trust.
