New Delhi: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and her husband, Ranveer Singh, recently announced their second pregnancy in April 2026. The couple, already parents to their daughter Dua, shared the joyous news via a heartfelt post depicting Dua holding a pregnancy test kit that showed positive results.
In the wake of this announcement, an old interview clip featuring Padukone has resurfaced online. In this video, she was asked about one thing she wished to accomplish before passing away, to which she expressed her desires regarding motherhood.

During the interview, Padukone participated in a question-and-answer segment where she drew a prompt asking, “The one thing I’ve got to do before I die.” She responded, “The one thing I’ve got to do before I die is definitely have lots of babies. That’s what I want to do.”

Padukone confirmed her second pregnancy with Singh in April 2026 by sharing a photograph of Dua. The announcement was simply captioned with two evil eye emojis.

On the professional front, Padukone is set to appear in King, an action thriller co-starring Shah Rukh Khan, scheduled for release on December 24, 2026. She is also involved in Raaka, directed by Atlee and featuring Allu Arjun.

This year’s event commenced on May 4, featuring the theme “Costume Art.” Padukone made her Met Gala debut in 2017, showcasing an outfit designed by Tommy Hilfiger. She has attended the event on three occasions: 2017, 2018, and 2019.
