Key operational metrics showed significant improvement, with mobile Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) rising to ₹245 from ₹208 in Q3 FY24. Airtel added 6.5 million smartphone users during the quarter, with smartphone customers now comprising 75.8 per cent of its mobile base.

The homes business maintained growth momentum with revenue up by 18.7 per cent y-o-y, adding 674,000 new customers. Airtel Business revenue grew by 8.7 per cent YoY despite headwinds in the global segment.

The company’s consolidated EBITDA margin stood at 55.1 per cent, while the net debt to EBITDAaL ratio improved to 1.56 times on a reported basis. During the quarter, Airtel prepaid ₹3,626 crore of spectrum dues to reduce high-cost debt.
