CaratLane, a jewellery brand under the Tata Group, has officially announced the opening of its new manufacturing facility in Chennai. Situated in the SIDCO industrial estate, this facility encompasses 32,000 square feet and spans four floors, with plans to double the company’s overall production capacity.
The establishment of the facility is expected to create around 100 specialized jobs, as noted in a recent media release. “This new manufacturing facility in Chennai represents a strategic investment in strengthening our supply chain and scaling operations to meet the evolving needs of our customers. By combining advanced technology with skilled craftsmanship, we at CaratLane are well-positioned to deliver high-quality jewellery with greater speed and efficiency, while also contributing to local employment and sustainable practices,” stated Saumen Bhaumik, Managing Director of CaratLane.
The facility is part of CaratLane’s ongoing commitment to enhance its manufacturing capabilities while ensuring compliance with sustainable practices and fulfilling customer demands effectively.
