New Delhi: The anticipation surrounding the forthcoming installment of Ajay Devgn’s popular Drishyam franchise, Drishyam 3, has been significant. Amid this excitement, director Abhishek Pathak and actress Shivaleeka Oberoi announced their pregnancy several months ago.
On April 19, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, the couple welcomed a baby girl. They shared the joyful news through a heartfelt post on social media.
In their announcement, they expressed, “Our little Goddess Lakshmi has entered our lives on an auspicious day. She is the very embodiment of a blessing.” Along with this statement, they shared a card proclaiming, “In a moment, our hearts found a new meaning! With immense love and gratitude, we welcome our precious baby girl! Blessed parents: Shivaleeka and Abhishek.”
Following the announcement, numerous colleagues from the film industry offered their congratulations. Aahana Kumra commented with “Congratulations!” while Kishwer Merchantt and Karan Mehra also extended their best wishes.
Shivaleeka and Abhishek’s Relationship: Abhishek Pathak and Shivaleeka Oberoi married in Goa in February 2023. The couple first met in 2020 on the sets of the film Khuda Haafiz, for which Abhishek was the producer. They had previously announced their pregnancy via an Instagram post last year.
On the Work Front: Abhishek has directed films such as Drishyam 2 and Ujda Chaman, and has co-produced notable projects like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Khuda Haafiz, and Section 375.
Shivaleeka made her debut alongside Vidyut Jammwal in Khuda Haafiz, which gained popularity after its release on Jio Hotstar during the COVID-19 pandemic. The success led to a sequel, Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2 – Agni Pariksha, released in 2022, though it did not perform well at the box office.
