Ideabaaz, India’s first integrated marketplace designed to connect startups and investors, was officially launched today at the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) in Mumbai. The event was presided over by NSE Managing Director and CEO Ashishkumar Chauhan, along with notable business leaders and investors.

The platform aims to democratize access to capital and mentorship, specifically focusing on startups emerging from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Ideabaaz will facilitate connections between startups and investors while offering essential professional services such as legal and accounting support. Additionally, it will provide mentorship opportunities from industry leaders and maintain transparent quarterly tracking systems for progress and accountability.

To further enhance its outreach, the launch is supplemented by an entrepreneurial reality show slated to air on Zee TV and stream on Zee5, hosted by actor Pratik Gandhi. The show will be available in multiple regional languages to maximize nationwide accessibility.

Ten prominent investors are set to join the platform, including Rishabh Mariwala of Sharrp Ventures, Anupam Bansal of Liberty Shoes, Shaili Chopra of SheThePeople, Arjun Vaidya of V3 Ventures, and Priyanka Salot of The Sleep Company, among others.

“Our mission is simple—to bridge the gap between startups and investors, while providing the tools and ecosystem support required to scale,” stated Jeet Wagh, Founder and CEO of Ideabaaz.

In its pursuit of creating a robust ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship, Ideabaaz has partnered with IIT Madras as its Knowledge Partner and Turbo Start as its Strategic Partner. Raj Nayak has been appointed as the Mentor, Investor, and Chief Curator of the initiative.
