Wishes poured in for Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday. Since taking office in 2014, PM Modi has led his party to significant geographical and electoral success, earning praise from BJP leaders and allies as an embodiment of hard work and international respect for India.

President Droupadi Murmu extended her greetings, commending PM Modi for fostering a culture of ambition in the nation. In a post on X, she stated, “Today, the global community is also expressing its faith in your guidance. Heartfelt birthday greetings and best wishes to the Prime Minister of India, Shri @narendramodi ji. By exemplifying the pinnacle of hard work through your extraordinary leadership, you have instilled a culture of achieving great goals in the country.” She also prayed for his health and longevity, emphasizing his unique leadership role.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh acknowledged Modi’s visionary leadership, dedicating his efforts to revitalizing the nation and guiding it in a new direction. He noted that PM Modi has enhanced India’s global reputation and showcased a commitment to the welfare of the populace, particularly the underprivileged.

BJP President J P Nadda remarked that Modi has implemented transformative measures to establish an “aatmanirbhar and Viksit Bharat” aimed at uplifting all societal segments. He added that under PM Modi’s leadership, India’s spiritual and cultural heritage has gained international recognition.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari referred to Modi as the world’s most popular leader, expressing hopes that India, under his guidance, would achieve self-reliance and become a “vishwaguru,” while eradicating terrorism and corruption.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called PM Modi “the torchbearer of the hopes and aspirations of 1.4 billion Indians,” affirming his role in positioning ‘New India’ prominently on the global stage. He emphasized Modi’s alignment with the vision of ‘One India – Excellent India.’

Actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut referred to him as the “true son of Mother India” in her birthday wishes.

Prominent celebrities joined in the celebrations, as superstar Rajinikanth sent heartfelt wishes, emphasizing respect and a desire for Modi to lead the nation with strength. Cricketer Yuvraj Singh also offered his congratulations, wishing for continued vision and success in the coming year. Cricketer Suresh Raina shared a photo with PM Modi and noted, “Under your leadership, India has taken remarkable strides in development, global recognition, and national unity. May your vision continue to guide our nation towards greater progress and prosperity.”

In observance of PM Modi’s birthday, the BJP initiated a fortnight-long “Sewa Pakhwada” to promote various outreach and welfare programs, including health camps, cleanliness drives, and fairs focused on indigenous products, scheduled to occur until October 2.

PM Modi is set to travel to Dhar in Madhya Pradesh to launch a nationwide campaign addressing women’s and children’s health and nutrition, alongside other development programs targeting tribal populations.

As of now, PM Modi is the third-longest-serving prime minister of India, following Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi, and ranks second for uninterrupted tenure in office.
