The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure has undergone a significant transformation, moving away from its previous iteration which was sometimes likened to a ‘taller Duke’. Priced at ₹3.68 lakh, the new model justifies its cost with a range of upgrades and improvements.

Visually, the 390 Adventure sports a more rugged and focused design. The dual-LED headlight with LED DRL, knuckle guards, crash guard, and bash plate all come as standard, making it ready for adventure right out of the showroom. The use of PP body panels with in-mould decals ensures durability without compromising on aesthetics.

Under the hood, the 390 Adventure is powered by a 399 cc single-cylinder engine delivering 45.3 bhp and 3.9 kg-m of torque. Compared to its predecessor, the power delivery has been refined, offering improved tractability at lower revs. The addition of a crawl function enhances the bike’s maneuverability in challenging terrain.

Weighing in at 182 kg, the 390 Adventure feels agile and manageable. The tall handlebar and well-positioned footpegs provide a comfortable riding position, while the adjustable suspension and increased ground clearance allow for smooth handling over rough surfaces. The bike’s three riding modes – Off-road, Street, and Rain – cater to different riding conditions, offering varying levels of throttle response and traction control.

Overall, the new KTM 390 Adventure strikes a fine balance between on-road performance and off-road capabilities. With its competitive pricing and a host of upgrades, including a 5-inch TFT screen and adjustable suspension, it offers a compelling option for adventure enthusiasts. For those seeking a more hardcore off-road experience, the Enduro R variant may be worth considering, while the budget-friendly 390 Adventure X provides a more accessible option for casual riders.

In conclusion, the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure impresses with its versatility, performance, and rugged design, making it a solid choice for riders looking to explore both urban streets and off-road trails.
