Ahmedabad: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 concluded with the defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru triumphing over the Gujarat Titans in the final match. Among the standout performers of the season was 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, whose remarkable achievements have resonated with fans.
Representing the Rajasthan Royals, Sooryavanshi showcased exceptional talent throughout the tournament, accumulating runs against some of the league’s top bowlers. He topped the charts by securing the IPL orange cap with a total of 776 runs across 16 innings. His outstanding form helped Rajasthan Royals reach Qualifier 2, where they were ultimately eliminated by the Gujarat Titans. During the season, Sooryavanshi shattered multiple records and came close to breaking Chris Gayle’s legendary 30-ball century record.
