The Telangana Government has revealed its intention to develop two new IT parks in the outskirts of Hyderabad.

D. Sridhar Babu, the State’s IT and Industries Minister, mentioned that a thorough assessment is currently being conducted to find appropriate land for these parks. “We are exploring suitable locations on the fringes of the city to ensure easy connectivity and access for both employees and investors,” he stated.

This announcement came during a meeting with executives from Dew Software at his office in the Secretariat. The company has expressed plans to invest ₹100 crore in the region and anticipates creating over 900 job opportunities in the next five years.

Recognizing the difficulties industries face in securing land, Sridhar Babu indicated that the government is formulating a comprehensive policy to streamline the land allotment process.

“The new policy will allocate land based on the scale of investment and the number of jobs created,” he added in a statement on Tuesday.
