Sagility, a healthcare operations solutions provider, has announced its acquisition of BroadPath Healthcare Solutions, a company based in Tucson that specializes in healthcare services. With over 1,600 employees across the US and Philippines, BroadPath brings a wealth of expertise to Sagility’s portfolio. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Following the acquisition, shares of Sagility India Limited saw a significant increase on the NSE, trading at ₹47.73, up by ₹2.27 or 4.99 percent, hitting its upper band. This move solidifies Sagility’s position among the top ten largest health plans in the United States, adding more than 30 new clients to its roster. BroadPath’s services include member engagement, claims administration, provider enrollment, and member acquisition services.

The acquisition, valued at approximately ₹502 crore, was carried out through Sagility LLC, a subsidiary of Sagility India Limited. This deal represents less than one times enterprise value to revenue, based on BroadPath’s annual revenue of approximately US$70 million for the calendar year 2024.

Known for its early adoption of a work-from-home model, BroadPath brings its proprietary Bhive platform to Sagility. This platform is designed to enhance employee engagement and optimize operations in remote work environments. The existing leadership team at BroadPath will continue to lead the company to ensure continuity of client relationships.

Ramesh Gopalan, Managing Director and Group CEO of Sagility, highlighted the benefits of the acquisition, stating that BroadPath’s clients will now have access to Sagility’s advanced capabilities in automation, analytics, and artificial intelligence. With over 38,000 professionals spread across five global service delivery centers, Sagility serves five of the top ten healthcare payers in the United States.

Overall, this acquisition marks a significant step forward for Sagility as it expands its presence in the US healthcare market and strengthens its position as a leading provider of healthcare operations solutions.
