Ola Electric, the largest EV company in India, has unveiled its inaugural electric motorcycle series, the Roadster X, with prices starting at ₹74,999. The company has introduced five different variants of the motorcycle, with deliveries set to commence in mid-March 2025.

At 12.08 pm today, Ola Electric Mobility Limited’s shares were trading at ₹75.23, up by ₹0.38 or 0.51 per cent on the NSE.

The premier Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh model, priced at ₹1,54,999, showcases Ola’s cutting-edge 4680 Bharat Cell technology and boasts an impressive range of 501 kilometers per charge. Other options within the series include variants with 2.5kWh, 3.5kWh, and 4.5kWh battery configurations, priced between ₹74,999 and ₹1,04,999.

The Roadster series introduces several pioneering features to the industry, such as patented brake-by-wire technology with single ABS and flat cables for enhanced efficiency. All models come equipped with a 4.3” LCD screen, USB connectivity, and are powered by the MoveOS 5 operating system.

The motorcycles offer multiple riding modes – Sports, Normal, and Eco – and come with a standard warranty of 3 years or 50,000 kilometers. The base model can achieve speeds up to 105 km/h, while the higher-end models can reach up to 125 km/h.

This launch follows Ola’s recent debut of its Gen 3 scooter range and the unveiling of its new Gig and S1 Z scooter lineup, which are expected to be delivered starting in April 2025.
