Inside, the cabin predominantly features black materials, accented by stylish trim elements, including robust air conditioning vents. The layout appears user-friendly, with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen integrated within a spacious center console. The vehicle includes Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and a comprehensive array of technology options. However, while the soft-touch materials contribute to a premium atmosphere, instances of inconsistent quality were noted in certain areas such as the steering column cover and removable cupholders.

Seating comfort in the second row may pose challenges for taller individuals, as the high floor height leads to reduced under-thigh support. Although the captain seats offer features like ventilation and massage in the front row, the overall experience may not be optimal for those over six feet tall. A dual-pane panoramic sunroof enhances the spacious feeling, though the third row is best suited for children.

Driver Focus

The Majestor emphasizes a driver-centric experience, powered by a 212-bhp twin-turbo 2.0-litre diesel engine that performs admirably on highways. While the eight-speed gearbox provides a smooth experience, its responsiveness is less pronounced at lower speeds. Improvements in steering feel make it more engaging compared to the Gloster, with selectable modes that cater to different driving preferences.

For those interested in off-roading, the Majestor is equipped with a significant off-road package that includes a low-range transfer case, three differential locks, and specific driving modes designed for challenging terrain. MG has also introduced all-terrain tires as an option. During a driving event, the Majestor demonstrated its capability to handle various off-road conditions effectively, though it requires some driver knowledge for optimal performance.

Potential buyers may consider the Majestor for its distinctive design, durable construction, and a first-row representative cabin experience. However, it faces stiff competition from established models like the Toyota Fortuner, known for its reliability and reputation built over years, aspects that MG will need to address to establish its credibility in this segment.
