Gold prices in India witnessed a decline today, with rates falling by ₹45 per gram in most cities. The price for 8 grams of 24-carat gold also decreased by ₹552 compared to yesterday.

The current gold prices in India stand at ₹8,100 for 1 gram of 22-carat gold (down ₹45) and ₹64,800 for 8 grams of gold, a decline of ₹360.

In Mumbai, the gold prices today are ₹8,100 for 1 gram of 22-carat gold (down ₹45) and ₹64,800 for 8 grams of 22-carat gold, a decrease of ₹360. For 24-carat gold, the prices are ₹8,505 for 1 gram (down ₹47) and ₹68,040 for 8 grams, a drop of ₹376.

Gold rate in Chennai

Chennai witnessed gold prices at ₹8,020 for 1 gram of 22-carat gold (down ₹45) and ₹64,160 for 8 grams, a decrease of ₹360. For 24-carat gold, the prices are ₹8,421 for 1 gram (down ₹47) and ₹67,368 for 8 grams, a fall of ₹376.
