The Mamata Machinery IPO has generated significant interest from investors, with the issue being oversubscribed on Day 1. The IPO, which is entirely an offer-for-sale, has a price band of ₹230-243 and is set to close on December 23.

Investors from all categories, including qualified institutional buyers, retail investors, and non-institutional buyers, have shown strong demand for the shares. The company has allocated shares to anchor investors ahead of the IPO, raising over ₹53 crore.

Mamata Machinery, based in Gujarat, provides end-to-end manufacturing solutions for the packaging industry. The company sells its machines under the brand names ‘Vega’ and ‘Win’, catering to the entire flexible packaging market value chain.

The IPO proceeds will go to the selling shareholders, as it is an offer-for-sale. The company aims to list its shares on the BSE and NSE on December 27, with the objective of gaining visibility, enhancing its brand image, providing liquidity to shareholders, and establishing a public market for its shares.

Overall, the strong interest in the Mamata Machinery IPO reflects investor confidence in the company’s business and growth prospects in the packaging industry.
