HCLTech has expanded its Cornerstone Partnership with MetLife Stadium, now designating the company as the Official AI Partner for both the stadium and the New York-based NFL teams, the New York Giants and the New York Jets. This follows its initial designation as the Official Digital Transformation Partner of MetLife Stadium in September 2022. HCLTech aims to leverage its AI-led capabilities to enhance customer experiences and build smarter, safer environments.

Tech Mahindra has acquired Avant Tech Solutions, also known as Alluri Technologies, a specialist in payments modernization based in Canada. This acquisition will expand Tech Mahindra’s offerings across several areas, such as real-time rail capabilities, ISO 20022 migration, and core payments cloud transformation. It will also enhance its portfolio in identity and access management solutions across North America, while opening opportunities in open banking and fraud prevention.

In a strategic move within the beauty and personal care market, Reliance Retail has acquired Anomaly, the haircare brand founded by actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The company has gained ownership of Anomaly’s trademarks, assets, and digital properties, although the financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Infosys has appointed Nitin Paranjpe as its non-executive Vice Chairman, effective immediately. This appointment recognizes Paranjpe’s contributions to the board and draws on his extensive experience, including leadership positions at Hindustan Unilever Ltd and Heineken NV. As Vice Chairman, he will assist the Chairman in steering the board’s strategic direction.

Vodafone Idea Ltd has received relief on its outstanding adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues, with the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) reducing the payable amount to ₹64,046 crore by December 31, 2025, from an earlier estimate of ₹87,695 crore after a reassessment.

Lemon Tree Hotels has announced the opening of Lemon Tree Premier, Biratnagar, marking a key expansion into Nepal’s upscale hotel market. Biratnagar, historically known as an industrial center, is undergoing a modern transformation, and this hotel will be the city’s first major branded accommodation.

Coal India Limited has announced its entry into renewable energy infrastructure with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. The company has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from GRIDCO Limited in Odisha to establish this large-scale BESS, marking a significant pivot towards advanced energy storage solutions.

Aurobindo Pharma’s subsidiary, CuraTeQ Biologics, has received a Notice of Compliance (NOC) from Health Canada for its bevacizumab biosimilar, Bevqolva. Additionally, two other biosimilar applications from CuraTeQ are currently under review by Health Canada.

Sanofi India Ltd has appointed Rahul Bhatnagar as its Chairman, effective April 30. Bhatnagar, who joined the board in 2020, has contributed to various committees, bringing extensive expertise in finance and strategy.

NCC Ltd has secured four new orders in April totaling ₹1,703.27 crore (excluding GST). These orders span multiple divisions, including ₹929.96 crore for the Buildings Division and ₹603.41 crore for the Electrical Division.

Bharat Forge Ltd has acquired a 30% stake in Fortuna Engineering Private Limited for an equity value of ₹129.60 crores, pending final adjustments. Fortuna, founded in 1989, specializes in precision-engineered components for automotive and industrial applications in India.

Siemens has announced the receipt of a new order worth over ₹1,825 crore. The order involves the manufacturing and supply of bogies, traction motors, and gearboxes for internal allocation within its group companies.

Deepak Chem Tech Ltd, a subsidiary of Deepak Nitrite Ltd, has entered a long-term agreement with Praxair India (a Linde company) to construct a HyCO plant supplying key raw materials for a polycarbonate manufacturing facility in Gujarat. Praxair will build and operate a dedicated on-site facility for this purpose.

Shelter Pharma Ltd has secured international purchase orders, a significant milestone in its expansion and a reflection of its growing international acceptance, expected to positively impact revenue and business growth.

Diffusion Engineers Ltd has secured a domestic order valued around ₹8.16 crore for the supply and maintenance of Roller Press Rolls intended for the cement industry.
