With the opening of the Kedarnath Dham portals, the Char Dham Yatra has gained significant momentum. A considerable influx of devotees is being observed at Kedarnath, where the state government has implemented extensive measures to ensure the convenience and safety of pilgrims, facilitating smooth and secure darshan.

Rajkumar Tiwari, President of the Kedarnath Temple Committee, reported that the Kedarnath temple has been open for three days, coinciding with the opening of Bhairavnath Temple. He stated that approximately 110,000 devotees have already had darshan of Lord Kedarnath. Tiwari confirmed that current arrangements at Kedarnath are functioning effectively, ensuring that every devotee has the opportunity for darshan. He condemned attempts by certain disruptive elements to tarnish the shrine’s image.

Umesh Chandra Posti, a senior member of the Kedarnath Sabha, noted that approximately 110,000 devotees have visited the temple to date, under the leadership of BKTC and the district administration. He expressed concern over misleading information being disseminated via social media, urging devotees from across India and abroad to visit Kedarnath confidently. He reassured that the temple administration and district authorities are working tirelessly to manage arrangements, emphasizing that there is no mismanagement at Kedarnath. A token system has been implemented to expedite the darshan process.

Sanjay Tiwari, another Kedarnath Sabha member, welcomed all devotees and mentioned the opening of Baba Bhairavnath’s portals. He highlighted the comprehensive arrangements made by the government, local administration, Kedarnath Sabha, and residents for accommodation, darshan, and food for pilgrims. He dismissed the misleading content circulating on social media, asserting that the best possible arrangements have been made while considering Kedarnath’s challenging geographical conditions.
