Jyothy Labs: Strong Buy Recommendation

Jyothy Labs, a leading player in the FMCG sector, is poised for growth according to recent channel checks and market analysis. Despite a muted volume growth in Q2-FY25, the company is expected to bounce back with a minimum of 5-6 percent volume growth in Q3-FY25. This turnaround is attributed to strategic initiatives taken by the management, such as focusing on the liquid detergent segment, reclaiming market share in dishwashing, adjusting pricing in the soaps portfolio, and promoting conversion to liquids in household insecticides.

The company’s aggressive stance in key segments is expected to result in improved profitability, making it a standout performer in the consumer sector. As a result, analysts have placed a high-conviction Buy rating on Jyothy Labs with a target price of ₹600, representing a potential upside of over 48 percent from the current market price of ₹405.45.

While the target multiple has been slightly reduced to account for sector-wide corrections, the overall outlook for Jyothy Labs remains positive. Investors are advised to keep an eye on the company’s performance in the coming quarters as it continues its growth trajectory in the FMCG space.
