Inox Wind Limited (IWL) has recently secured a notable order for 153 MW from a prominent renewable energy developer, part of a global clean energy company. The wind energy solutions provider announced this development today.

The shares of Inox Wind Limited (IWL) saw a rise to ₹162.75, up by ₹9.56 or 6.24 per cent on the NSE at 10.13 am.

The contract entails supplying IWL’s 3 MW class wind turbines for a project in Tamil Nadu, in addition to limited scope EPC services and multi-year operations and maintenance support post-commissioning.

This order signifies the first large-scale order from this particular customer, expanding IWL’s diverse order book in India’s thriving commercial and industrial renewable energy market.

Inox Wind’s Group CEO, Kailash Tarachandani, emphasized the company’s proficiency in wind project execution and strong product and servicing excellence, positioning IWL as a preferred partner for major renewable project developers.

As part of the $12 billion INOXGFL Group, Inox Wind operates as a fully integrated player in the wind energy sector with manufacturing facilities in Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh. The company manufactures blades, tubular towers, hubs, and nacelles, with an annual manufacturing capacity of about 2.5 GW.

IWL’s subsidiary, Inox Green Energy Services Ltd., is reportedly the only listed wind O&M services company in India, managing a portfolio of around 3.5 GW.
