The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the warm-up fixtures for the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, set to commence on June 12. For the first time, twelve teams will compete in the tournament.
Prior to the main event, teams will participate in 12 warm-up matches from June 6 to 10, taking place in Derby, Loughborough, and Cardiff. India will feature in two of these matches: the first against the host nation, England, and the second against the West Indies, the champions of 2016.
India’s Schedule: June 8 and 10
India will face the West Indies on June 8 at Cardiff, followed by a match against England on June 10, also in Cardiff. The Indian team, captained by Harmanpreet Kaur, will also engage in a three-match T20I series against England from late May to early June, allowing the players to acclimatize to English conditions.
