Firstsource Solutions Ltd, a part of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, has officially inaugurated its new Australia and New Zealand headquarters in Melbourne, Victoria, along with the introduction of an AI Innovation Lab, as per an announcement made today.

At 3.20 pm today, on the NSE, the shares of Firstsource Solutions Limited were trading at ₹353.45, up by ₹1.35 or 0.38 per cent.

The expansion includes the establishment of a delivery centre and the introduction of the new lab that will focus on the responsible adoption of AI and industry innovation. Over the next five years, Firstsource plans to generate over 400 new job opportunities in the region.

The AI Innovation Lab is set to feature Firstsource relAI, a series of AI-driven platforms tailored to assist businesses in streamlining operations and enhancing customer experiences. Moreover, the lab will be engaged in AI, engineering, and robotics research, partnering with local universities to nurture talent.

Sanjiv Goenka, the Chairman of RPSG Group and Firstsource, stated that the Melbourne hub is positioned to become the company’s third-largest global operation.

Danny Pearson, the Minister for Economic Growth and Jobs with the Victorian Government, praised Victoria’s pool of tech talent and innovative capabilities, making it an appealing destination for global tech firms.

This expansion aligns with Victoria’s India Strategy 2025-30, as bilateral trade between Victoria and India reached $3.6 billion in 2023-24.

Firstsource offers transformative solutions across various sectors globally, including healthcare, banking, communications, media, technology, and retail. The new Melbourne headquarters and AI Innovation Lab underscore the company’s commitment to fostering technological advancements and driving innovation.
