New Delhi: The Khans, Bachchans, and Kapoors have long been dominant figures in Bollywood, with several families making significant contributions to the film industry. Among these influential clans, the Khan and Bachchan families have produced numerous notable actors. Recently, the Panday family has emerged as a new force, with four actors currently making their mark, two of whom have achieved success right from their debut film.

The cinematic legacy of the Panday family began with Chunky Panday, a prominent actor since the 1990s. He gained recognition for his roles in successful films such as Tezaab, Aankhen, Vishwatma, and Zakhm. Known for his versatility in both serious roles and comedy, Panday remains active in Bollywood, as well as in the Tamil and Telugu film industries. His wife, Bhavana Panday, is not an actress but has garnered attention, particularly after her appearance on Netflix’s reality series, Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.

Ananya Panday, one of the family’s rising stars, has made a name for herself in recent years. With a diverse filmography that includes titles like Pati Patni Aur Woh, Gehraiyaan, and Dream Girl 2, she has also ventured into web series, with notable projects such as Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Call Me Bae, and CTRL. Her most recent film, Kesari Chapter 2, showcased her as a strong character in the role of a lawyer.

Ahaan Panday, 27, made his acting debut with Saiyaara, which was released in theaters on July 18, 2025. The film, directed by Mohit Suri, received a positive response at the box office, with Ahaan’s performance drawing particular praise for its emotional depth. The film also featured debutant actress Aneet Padda in a lead role, and both actors were recognized for their compelling performances.

In related news, Sidharth Malhotra, known for his role in Param Sundari, recently discussed “dad duties” on The Great Indian Kapil Show S3.
