New Delhi: Aditya Dhar’s ambitious project, Dhurandhar, has continued its impressive box office performance throughout 2025 and 2026. Following the success of the first film, the sequel was released just three months later, generating significant excitement among audiences eager to see the continuation of the storyline. Advance bookings alone brought in crores before the official release, reflecting the high anticipation surrounding the movie. After the release of both films starring Ranveer Singh, fans took to social media to express their desire for a third installment, although the film’s team had remained largely silent on the matter.
Behind the scenes, however, producers have been working on something substantial. Jyoti Deshpande, a co-producer at Jio Studios, recently hinted at developments regarding Dhurandhar 3.

Co-producer Jyoti Deshpande indicated that the work on Dhurandhar is far from complete, suggesting that a significant “surprise” could be unveiled for fans soon. Deshpande stated, “Our work on Dhurandhar is not finished yet. We hope to have a surprise for the audience by the end of this year. We have something special in store.”

While Deshpande did not provide specific details about the anticipated surprise related to Dhurandhar, speculation has intensified among fans that a third film could be on the horizon. Dhurandhar and Its Sequel’s Box Office Performance
Aditya Dhar’s spy-action film Dhurandhar, released in 2025, was highly praised by audiences. Following the successful launch of the first film, Dhurandhar 2 arrived in March 2026, achieving exceptional box office success and setting multiple records. Both films featured a notable ensemble cast that included Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and Akshaye Khanna among other prominent actors.
