BMW India has officially unveiled the highly anticipated fourth generation of the BMW X3 at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Following its global premiere in June 2024, this luxury SUV is now available in India, starting at Rs 75.80 lakh for the petrol variant and Rs 77.80 lakh for the diesel variant (ex-showroom price across India).

The new X3 features a refreshed design and enhanced interiors, catering specifically to the preferences of Indian consumers. Both petrol and diesel engine options are offered.

Striking New Design

The 2025 BMW X3 showcases a design inspired by the BMW 5 Series, featuring several notable enhancements:

  • Front Grille and Lights: It sports a larger kidney grille paired with sleek LED headlights featuring a new DRL signature.
  • Side Profile: The silhouette remains similar to its predecessor, but it now sits on new 19-inch alloy wheels with smoother design lines.
  • Rear Design: The SUV boasts narrower Y-shaped taillights reminiscent of the BMW XM, along with a newly positioned number plate housing on the rear bumper.

Luxurious Interior with Modern Upgrades

Inside, the BMW X3 offers a refined cabin equipped with:

  • Technological Features: It comes with a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch fully digital driver’s display.
  • Premium Amenities: A Harman Kardon 15-speaker sound system, tri-zone climate control, ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof add to the luxury.
  • Safety Enhancements: The vehicle is loaded with advanced safety features including ADAS, multiple airbags, electronic stability control, hill descent control, tire pressure monitoring, parking assist, and a 360-degree camera.

Powerful Engine Options

The BMW X3 is offered with two robust powertrain options, both equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive (AWD):

Competing Rivals: The 2025 BMW X3 goes up against luxury SUVs like the Mercedes-Benz GLC and Audi Q5, presenting a compelling combination of style, technology, and performance.
