NEW DELHI: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) announced the appointment of three new spokespersons on Wednesday, a day after activist and educator Sonam Wangchuk joined the movement. The CJP, which originated as one of India’s largest internet phenomena and has since developed into a distinctive political entity, introduced Saurav Das, Vijeta Dahiya, and Ashutosh Ranka as its official spokespersons.

The party reiterated its commitment to transforming the political discourse in India. In a statement posted from an alternative X account, following the suspension of its original handle, the CJP declared: “CJP is committed to changing the political discourse of India, and this will be led by a new generation of leaders.”

This announcement follows a recent update from CJP’s founder, Abhijeet Dipke, who stated he would return from the United States on June 6. Dipke has urged supporters to join him in what he refers to as a collective movement, while continuing to voice criticism of the central government. He specifically called for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET-UG controversy.
