Imagicaaworld Entertainment Limited has approved an investment of up to ₹100 crore in Shanku’s Water Park, located in Mehsana, Gujarat. This decision marks Imagicaaworld’s latest effort to expand beyond its current theme park offerings into managed leisure assets across India.
The investment will be structured through a combination of equity and debt. As part of the arrangement, Imagicaaworld is set to provide comprehensive operations and management services, which will include overseeing park operations, enhancing guest experiences, ensuring safety systems, managing food and beverage services, and optimizing revenue. The company aims to earn a management fee ranging from 6 percent to 10 percent.
Spanning over 25 acres, Shanku’s Water Park features more than 25 rides and attractions, attracting visitors from Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Mehsana, and nearby regions. The park has recently undergone renovations, including upgraded water filtration systems, and is situated approximately one hour from Ahmedabad and GIFT City.
This announcement coincides with the release of the company’s Q4 FY26 results, which reported operational revenue of ₹91.9 crore. Visitor numbers across its parks increased by 5 percent year-on-year, totaling 6.21 lakh visitors, indicating stable consumer demand.
Managing Director Jai Malpani emphasized Gujarat’s increasing discretionary spending and growing tourism as key factors that make it a priority market. He stated that the company plans to leverage its operational expertise to boost visitor numbers and enhance the guest experience at the newly acquired water park.
On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Imagicaaworld shares closed at ₹42.07 on Monday, reflecting a decline of 2.66 percent for the day. Over the past year, the stock has decreased by approximately 36 percent and currently trades at a trailing price-to-earnings ratio of over 3,800, highlighting a disparity between its earnings and a market capitalization of roughly ₹2,366 crore.
Imagicaaworld operates several theme parks across India, including Imagicaa, WetnJoy, Aqua Imagicaa, and Sai Teerth.
