Indri’s Diwali Collector’s Edition 2025 Marsala Cask Finish has been awarded Best World Whisky at the Las Vegas Global Spirits Awards 2025, achieving an impressive score of 99.1 out of 100. This accolade stands as one of the highest scores ever for an Indian single malt at the competition.
This marks the second time Indri has received the Best World Whisky title, following its win in 2023. The limited-edition single malt, produced by Piccadily Distilleries in Indri, Haryana, is crafted from six-row Indian barley and finished in Marsala wine casks. With an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 60%, the whisky is noted for flavors of stewed apricots, cherries, plums, red berries, chocolate, and nutmeg.
The award arrives during a period of substantial growth for the brand. According to IWSR data, Indri surpassed prominent Scotch brands such as Glenlivet, Glenfiddich, Glenmorangie, The Singleton, and Laphroaig in 2024, establishing itself as the fastest growing and largest selling single malt whisky.
The Las Vegas Global Spirits Awards employs blind tastings judged by industry experts, including distillers, buyers, bartenders, and educators. Entries are evaluated on a 100-point scale that assesses appearance, aroma, palate, balance, and finish.
The Indri Diwali Collector’s Edition is slated for launch in India prior to the Diwali festival.
Shares of Piccadily Agro Industries Limited, the parent company of Indri, closed at ₹688 on the NSE, increasing by ₹12.85 or 1.90 percent.
