Adani Power (APL) has entered into a 25-year Power Supply Agreement (PSA) with the Bihar State Power Generation Company (BSPGCL) to supply 2,400 MW of power from a new ultra supercritical plant planned for Pirpainti in the Bhagalpur district. Adani Power secured the project by proposing the lowest supply rate of Rs 6.075 per kWh. The company plans to invest around $3 billion to construct the new facility (800 MW X 3) along with its associated infrastructure under the Design, Build, Finance, Own, and Operate (DBFOO) model.
RailTel Corporation of India has been awarded a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the State Project Director (SPD) of the Bihar Education Project Council (BEPC) for implementing the Education Quality Enhancement initiative in Bihar under PM SHRI.
