Adani Power (APL) has entered into a 25-year Power Supply Agreement (PSA) with the Bihar State Power Generation Company (BSPGCL) to supply 2,400 MW of power from a new ultra supercritical plant planned for Pirpainti in the Bhagalpur district. Adani Power secured the project by proposing the lowest supply rate of Rs 6.075 per kWh. The company plans to invest around $3 billion to construct the new facility (800 MW X 3) along with its associated infrastructure under the Design, Build, Finance, Own, and Operate (DBFOO) model.

RailTel Corporation of India has been awarded a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the State Project Director (SPD) of the Bihar Education Project Council (BEPC) for implementing the Education Quality Enhancement initiative in Bihar under PM SHRI. The value of the order, as per the LOA, is estimated at Rs 209.79 crore and is expected to be completed by September 11, 2026.

Vedanta’s subsidiary, Talwandi Sabo Power (TSPL), has reached a settlement agreement with SEPCO Electric Power Construction Corporation to resolve ongoing disputes related to the EPC contracts for a 3×660 MW thermal power project. Both parties have decided on a full and final settlement of all claims and counterclaims, with pending arbitration proceedings set to be withdrawn, bringing a long-standing issue to a close.

Tata Technologies announced on Saturday that it will acquire a 100% stake in Germany-based ES-Tec Group and its subsidiaries, with a total cash consideration amounting to 75 million euros (over Rs 775 crore). The company has finalized an agreement to purchase 100% equity shares of ES-Tech GmbH and its subsidiaries (collectively known as ES-Tec Group). The payment will occur over the next two years and includes performance-based earn-outs.

Info Edge India has received a whistleblower complaint alleging policy violations by certain employees within the 99acres business vertical. The audit committee and board of directors have acknowledged the allegations and have engaged a reputable law firm to conduct an independent investigation into the matter, as stated in a BSE filing by Info Edge (India).

KRBL has communicated to the exchanges that Anil Kumar Chaudhary, an Independent Director, has resigned, citing concerns over corporate governance issues. These include inconsistencies in recording Board and Committee Meeting Minutes, instances of information being withheld affecting decision-making, unjustified write-offs of export receivables, concerns regarding CSR fund usage, arbitrary distribution of Variable Pay and Annual Increments, significant changes to the Object Clause without thorough discussion, and undue interference by invitees in Board and Committee Meeting proceedings.

Birla Corporation Ltd announced that a Kolkata court has issued an ex parte order restricting the company from voting on a resolution to adopt a new set of Articles of Association at its upcoming 105th annual general meeting. This AGM will be held on September 15, and the order, dated September 11, was a response to a lawsuit filed by five shareholders, as per a stock exchange filing.

The aerospace division of Godrej Enterprises Group has secured a contract to manufacture critical LEAP engine components for Safran Aircraft Engines. This award is part of a five-year agreement with CFM International, a joint venture between GE Aerospace and Safran Aircraft Engines, which produces LEAP engines primarily used in next-generation narrow-body aircraft.

ixigo has announced a collaboration with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to introduce Delhi Metro ticketing services via the ixigo Trains app. This partnership allows ixigo Trains to provide QR-based metro tickets with in-app payments, enhancing the travel experience for passengers by saving time.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has granted exemptive relief for Infosys’ share buyback request, as detailed in a statutory filing on Friday. The SEC’s relief addresses conflicting regulatory requirements concerning tender offer procedures between Indian and U.S. laws.

Diamond Power Infrastructure has received a letter of intent from Adani Energy Solutions Limited for the supply of 5,403 KM of AL-59 Zebra Conductor for the Jamnagar Project, with a value of Rs 236.71 crore, including taxes.

Shakti Pumps (India) Limited has secured a new order valued at ₹374 crore from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the supply and installation of 34,720 off-grid solar water pumping systems, part of the government’s Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana / PM-KUSUM B scheme.

DCX Systems Limited announced on Friday, September 12, that it has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Tamil Nadu. The MoU pertains to the establishment of a radar manufacturing unit in Hosur, developed through a joint venture between DCX Systems and Israel’s ELTA Systems Ltd and its affiliates.
