Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed on Saturday that his “vocal for local” initiative is showing promising results, with Indian products gaining international recognition and making an impact globally.

During the NXT conclave, where the ‘NewsX World’ channel was inaugurated, Modi remarked that for many years, India was viewed merely as a back office for other countries. However, he emphasized that India is now transforming into a global manufacturing hub.

He stated that India is not just a source of labor but has established itself as a “world force.” The country is actively engaged in manufacturing advanced products such as semiconductors and aircraft carriers, while also promoting its superfoods like ‘makhana’ and millets, along with traditional Ayush products and yoga, which are gaining popularity worldwide.

Modi also highlighted India’s growing automobile industry and the increasing rise in defense exports. He urged that India should be portrayed authentically, without embellishments, suggesting that genuine stories from the nation should be shared internationally.

The Prime Minister noted that the recent re-election of the BJP-led NDA government is a testament to the trust the people have in their leadership. He expressed optimism that the new global news channel would showcase India’s achievements to the world.

He remarked that the global community is increasingly focused on India in the 21st century, with the country constantly generating positive headlines. Modi mentioned India’s leadership in various international initiatives, citing his recent co-hosting of the AI summit and the nation’s role in the G20 presidency.

Referring to the Maha Kumbh, he underscored it as a demonstration of India’s organizational capabilities and innovation.
