Rekha Gupta Fires Back at Atishi’s Claims: ‘Our Government, Our Agenda’

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday criticized former Delhi CM and AAP leader Atishi for attacking her right on her first day in office, stating, “She doesn’t need to instruct us on everything.”

Atishi, in a self-recorded video, accused the BJP government of failing to uphold its commitments. She remarked, “The BJP had assured the women of Delhi that the scheme providing ₹2,500 would be approved in the very first cabinet meeting. The new CM Rekha Gupta and her ministers were sworn in, and at 7 pm, the initial cabinet meeting convened. The women of Delhi were eagerly anticipating the approval of this scheme… However, on the very first day, BJP began to renege on their promises… they did not pass the scheme… BJP seems intent on deceiving the people of Delhi.”

In a firm rebuttal, Gupta stated, “This is our government; the agenda will belong to us. Allow us to do our job. She has already done what she needed to while in her term.”
